Dr. Adam Berry was born in Chicago, IL and raised in the Chicagoland area. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois @Urbana Champaign. He then went on to receive his medical doctorate from Rush Medical College in 2005. He also completed over half of his medical rotations at John S. Stroger Jr. Hospital (Cook County Hospital) in Chicago, IL.
In addition, he completed his residency at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL. All three “High Volume” medical centers helped to expose him to a wide range of complex medical cases thus helping to develop a strong foundation to build his medical knowledge on. He was taught the importance of treating all aspects of a patient’s health, in aims to heal their mind, body and soul.
Dr. Adam Berry would then go on to work as an Internist for the underserved as a former National Health Service Corps participant working with a large network of Federally Qualified Health Centers in Chicago, IL. He would also mentor local youth and volunteer his time in the Public Health sector as he led and gave didactic discussions on various topics such as Men’s Health, STD Prevention, Depression in the Elderly as well as Prostate and Colon Cancer Awareness.
Over the past few years Dr. Adam Berry gained additional training in healthcare leadership, quality improvement, medical economics as well as health awareness, disease prevention and wellness. He continues to give presentations throughout Palm Beach County, Florida and beyond to a variety of audiences. Dr. Berry is a firm believer in giving back to the community, this is why he also prides himself on mentoring youth and volunteering his time in underserved areas on a consistent basis.
Dr. Adam Berry is very passionate about educating his patients on how to become their best patient advocate while reaching their individual health goals. His thorough, yet down-to-earth approach helps to ensure patient confidentiality and trust every visit. He feels that he can learn something from everyone he meets, patients included, this is why he treats all people and patients equally with respect.
